Unfortunately, most of the public is unaware of the necessity Rene placed on sheep sorrel roots in her Essiac formula, and so most companies do not include them in their herbal blends. (That’s why this group does the work of finding vendors that *do* include the roots, and add them to our approved vendor list). We only include vendors that provide the 4 herb blend Rene Caisse used.

“The reason I offered to send you more material was because I know you cannot get the entire plant. You can buy the crushed leaves but they are no good alone. I found this out when I needed so much, when treating three to six hundred people afflicted with cancer every week for eight and a half years. “I am very shocked at the way your people are using the materials I sent you. The way they are preparing it for injections is an absolute waste. “Dear Dr. Stock; I am worried about not receiving any reports on the tests. Why are the roots good to have?
“Sheep sorrel root is a powerful astringent. By drying out excess moisture from in between cells, this protects healthy cells from wastes in solution lingering around them. It also prevents cancer cells from building up concentrations of chemicals which allow them to prosper.
