The info below is how I took myself from Stage 4 lung cancer to cancer free. If anyone wants to copy it for their own use, I’m okay with that so long as you don’t publish it. Thanks.
Here’s a bit of background info. I was diagnosed with Stage 3B non small cell lung cancer in February 2015. I did 33 radiation and 7 chemo treatments. That’s when I was told it shrunk the lung mass by half BUT it had spread to my liver (which made me Stage 4) to such an extent that they couldn’t even radiate my liver or they’d kill it. The doc said I needed 3 more chemo’s, “strong ones”. I did one, realized it was killing me and put the brakes on anything conventional. The doctor said “if it’s not aggressive you’ll be able to enjoy your summer”. That sounded to me like I wasn’t expected to make it beyond the Fall 2015.
Here’s what I did that got me from Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer to cancer free. It took me 2 years & 3 months from the time I bailed on conventional treatment to getting the good news on September 13, 2017. This starts from early July 2015 when I was no longer doing any conventional treatment.
First, I got on a macrobiotic diet. I use a consultant in Asheville, NC. His name is Lino Stanchich and I truly believe he’s way more than a diet consultant. His web site is www.greatlifeglobal.com He’ll Skype if you’re too far away. I think he’s a true healer. There are those kinds of people but they’re few and far between. I found him via google! Lino tailored the macrobiotic diet to my specific diagnosis. Not only did I have lung cancer and in one lymph node but after conventional “treatment” it spread big time to my liver. I was not in a good way. Lino took it all into account and told me what to eat. He gave me food lists which made things very easy.
I watched The Truth About Cancer series and spend a lot of time on the web site Chris Beat Cancer. www.chrisbeatcancer.com It’s loaded with vital info.
I wasn’t taking a lot of supplements but was taking Maiktake Fraction D. This is to boost the immune system. I took it from Feb 2015 for about 6 months.
My diet consists mainly of grains, greens and beans. No meat, no poultry, no dairy, no chocolate, no coffee or alcohol. Absolutely no sugar which is a superfood for cancer. Nothing refined or processed either. I’m about 95% organic. I eat a lot of shiitake mushrooms because they’re on the diet and very good for lung cancer. Lucky for me that I live next to a farm that grows shiitake mushrooms.
For beverages I drink a lot of Dandelion Root tea and Pau d’Arco tea. For me I’ve found the best place to get them is on-line from iHerb or other on-line stores. Just hunt around.
I eat some salads but more lightly steamed vegetables. Kale, collards, dandelion greens, turnip greens, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, daikon radish, cabbage and winter squash. Also, lotus root which is very good for the lungs. You can get lotus root at the Asian markets.
Of course Essiac Tea is a major part of my protocol. I take it morning and night. Every month or so I take a few days off. Here is a fantastic facebook group for Essiac Tea. https://www.facebook.com/groups/EssiacTeaUsers/ When you join, there’s a pinned post at the top of the page that will give you loads of info.
I get my tea from www.just-t.com It’s a wonderful product and made from just 4 herbs.
I started using a rebounder (mini trampoline). That’s to get the lymph moving. Unlike the blood which has the heart to pump it, the lymph has no pump. That’s where the rebounder comes in. When you jump on it, it gets the lymph moving which is what you want. The lymph removes the “debris” from the body and that’s a good thing.
A good friend is a homeopath so I was taking a lot of remedies from her. This is the one constant throughout. I was taking homeopathic remedies while I was on chemo & radiation and afterwards. I couldn’t even tell you what specific ones because I usually didn’t pay attention. It was almost like information overload so I just took what she said to take.
I didn’t have many household chemicals in the house but whatever was here was tossed. Vinegar does the job very nicely. The whole point was/is to take the toxic load off the body to give it a chance to heal. My laundry soap went in the trash and now I use Molly’s Suds. For the kitchen sink I use Dr Bonner’s organic castile soap.
For body products I started getting tooth powder and hairspray from the Dr Clark Store. https://www.drclarkstore.com/ I also get my parasite herbs from them too. About once a year I did a parasite cleanse and then would do the weekly maintenance program until I’d forget to do it.
I’d had all the metal fillings removed from my mouth about 20 years ago so that wasn’t an issue. At least I didn’t have to deal with that!
I got my Vit D level checked. About 4 months before I was diagnosed my Vit D level was barely 21 which is dreadfully low. Then when I got diagnosed I had it checked and it was in the 50’s. I worked at it and got it up into the 90’s which is exactly where I wanted it. I continue to take Vit D and Vit K2.
There are only a few other supplements that I take. I take Cordyceps which is good for the lungs. I also take NAC (N-Aceyl-L-Cysteine), and Alpha Lipoic Acid.
The main, key supplement I took and still do is Milk Thistle. It’s fantastic for cleaning the liver. I also take Vit C on occasion but not very regularly. I take a B complex maybe 5 times a week. And then there’s Zinc. I started taking that because I noticed my hair was thinning. Thankfully, the Zinc stopped that.
Sleep is another important point. I got a good 7 hours every night. During the day I’d take a nap for 1 – 2 hours. I figured I must have needed the sleep to heal because I’d curl up with a book and before I knew it I’d be sound asleep.
I went to see a psychic medium / healer. There were some issues I wanted to address which we did. She also did something similar to Reiki which to my understanding is moving energy. It was very helpful. Here’s her site: http://junevidal.com/
I made a major effort to keep all stress to a bare minimum. I cut negative people out of my life. If anyone would start telling me a story that I knew would upset me I’d cut them off and as rude as it sounds I’d tell them, “you can’t tell me these kinds of things, it upsets me”. Finally people would start to get the point; I was no longer someone they could come to to dump on. I no longer wanted to hear it because it was just too toxic. I’d gladly help someone with a problem but I was no longer willing to be a sounding board for them to vent if they weren’t willing to do something about it. It made my life much more pleasant. Keep your supportive family and friends very close to you.
I also used Frankincense essential oil. I applied it daily to the soles of my feet and topically over my liver, the lymph node and the lung spot.
Another thing I did was for the last 6 – 8 months I juiced a lot. This wasn’t to replace meals but for in-between or in the early evening. I used about 10 pounds of carrots a week which isn’t very much. I’d also make fruit smoothies from berries. When blueberries were in season I’d get lots from friends; at other times I’d buy them, always organic.
Water. I’m now using a Berkey water filter in the kitchen. It sits on the counter and I also got their filter for my shower head. https://berkeywater.com
I was given a book called Creative Visualization for Beginners. I used to visualize that my lung was totally cleared of cancer. I did this for my liver and the lymph node too.
Last but certainly not least, get as many people praying for you as you can. If their religion is different than yours, it doesn’t matter.
The point in everything you’ve just read is to keep the toxic load to a bare minimum to give the body a chance to heal itself. It worked for me. I found a better way.
